freiburg markets

I had an appointment this morning in the city of Freiburg, about an hour south of us. After the appointment I stayed and visited the old city center.

Surrounding the great cathedral in the center of the city is a large and well-known farmer's market. There were all kinds of yummy and beautiful things to be found in the shadow of the church.



Next, I wandered over to the old town hall to the Christmas market and wandered through all the booths enjoying even more yummy and beautiful things.





I love visiting Freiburg. Its a great place to wander and shop...lots of old cobblestoned streets and wonderful, unique shops!
