I was in Karlsruhe yesterday doing some shopping. I noticed this old advertisement on the side of a building with a great family graphic:
The ad is for mattresses. And I love how happy that family is about their mattresses. And, with that bed head and those pajamas, dad seemed to have had a good night's rest! But what are those hand gestures all about...?

Yeah, those pointing gestures are weird, the dad's doesn't look appropriate for the side of a building!
Hi Heather ~ I'm just guessing here that Rotbani is the name of an Indian manufacturer. In which case, the hand gestures would be called mudras. You can see gestures like these in many Indian, and Tibetan artworks.
