This beautiful, beautiful boy arrived after 24 hours of labor, 1 hour and 15 minutes of pushing and a C-section...and all worth it!

I'm in love!

11 years ago today...

...I met this boy!

Since that day here are just a few of the things he's given me: an education; a sewing machine and fabric so I could learn to quilt; a study abroad in Cambridge, England; two years in Germany; a birthday in Ireland...

motherhood...



and now...a home of our own:

We're homeowners, folks! Real, live, mortgage-carrying homeowners!

Talk about making all my wildest dreams come true! I can't wait to see what this boy has next in store for me!
